Outreach Center Summer Camp Golf Outing

Here we go. We are back!

The Gerald J. Ryan Outreach Center’s Annual Golf Outing will be held on Monday, May 22nd, 2023, at the Indian Hills Country Club.

On the 50th anniversary of the Outreach and the 40th anniversary of the Summer Camp, we are having our golf outing as a much-needed fundraiser for the families we serve. Unfortunately, many factors have negatively impacted the Outreach Center’s donations, such as runaway inflation, the three-year-old ongoing global health threat, and the loss of several large donors. This has resulted in very challenging times for nonprofit organizations like the Outreach. You know who we are; typically, the Summer camp has at least one-third of our campers who are homeless, shelter,  foster, or children in the custody of their grandparents. For the past 40 years, this camp has been very impactful in the lives of thousands of these children.

What better way to have a fun and relaxing evening with like-minded people while contributing to a very worthy cause? Please come join us for a great day of golf, relax at the cocktail hour, listen to soft music, and have a nice dinner with your friends. We are looking for sponsors to help make this event a success while helping children that are less fortunate than yours.   A “Friends of GROC Hole Sponsor” funds a child for summer camp this summer. The venue has changed this year to the Indian Hills Country Club, which is an impeccable and challenging golf course, overlooking the Long Island Sound.
