Summer Camp
The Gerald J. Ryan Summer Camp at Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal Church in Wyandanch has served the community for over 30 years. We enroll 100+ children in grades 1 – 6. The campers take part in camp activities for five weeks during late June and July, Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
The camp’s enrollment includes a registration fee which helps cover many expenses that the Ryan Center must incur to run a successful and well-organized camp. We employ teenagers from the local community as camp counselors and teachers.
Please consider joining our “Adopt a Camper” program to help keep children off the streets when school is closed. You will be helping to enrich their lives with long-lasting friendships, learning, fun competition, unique experiences, and memories that last a lifetime. Contact Camp Director, Naycha Florival, at (631) 643-3364, starting the first day of Spring.
