Fresh Community Vegetables
Delicious Food Grown and Nurtured in Wyandanch by Our Young Campers!
Our vegetable garden was first planted in 2012, to assist in providing fresh vegetables to our community. During the fall and winter months, the garden is decorated with seasonal themes. We are currently expanding our vegetable selections and creating new mini-gardens.
The children at our summer camp help tend these gardens and learn about planting seeds, feeding and cultivating crops that are delicious, nutritious, and part of just about everyone’s regular diet.
